Nearby golf courses, Marina Golf, Cortijo Grande, Desert Springs and Valle del Este all provide a quality of design and installation.  There are three more under construction or in the planning stage which justifies the claim that the area is a prime Golf destination.

The nearby port of Garrucha has a fine Marina that provides pleasure and fishing trips and a further Marina is in planning stage for Mojácar.  There are Scuba-diving schools, water Ski-ing and Sailing facilities.  A number of tennis courts, bowling greens, three equestrian facilities, hill walking groups, art classes and social clubs.
